How do I change my registered phone number?


If you do not have an existing loan, please contact us via the Tala App to request this change, or you can email us through our web form. 

Kindly provide us with the following for security purposes:

  1. Full Name:
  2. Tala Registered Number or email address
  3. Latest Photo of the Front and Back of your ID (please take a new photo of your ID)
  4. Record a short video - For your security and protection, we would like to ask you to take a video of yourself holding your government-issued ID while stating the following: Name, Date today, and YOUR REQUEST (e.g. change my mobile number from 0922XXXXXXX to 0917XXXXXXX; link my account to my device, etc.)
  5. Type your NEW mobile number:
  6. Reason for changing your mobile number: If you still have a balance on your account, you must settle your current loan before we can update your phone number.
