What are the requirements?

You only need two requirements:

• An Android smartphone
  • You must be the owner of the phone
  • The phone should not be linked to an existing Tala account

• 1 valid ID. You can submit any of the following:
  • UMID
  • SSS ID
  • Postal ID
  • Passport
  • Driver’s License
  • Voter’s ID (with QR Code)
  • PhilSys ID / National ID

A bank account is not required. We also do not require any collateral.

Security Tips:

• Apply and submit personal details only through the official Tala app.
• Tala will never ask you to make a downpayment to apply or to cash out.
• Remember that we will never contact you via Facebook, Messenger, or from a gmail, yahoo, or an outlook email.
