How can I delete my account?

 

We are sad to hear that you're considering deleting your account.

Are you encountering any issues or do you have unresolved concerns? If yes, please give us a chance to correct this. Contact us through gotala.co/help and include the full details of your concern:

  • Your full name
  • Your Tala-registered mobile number or email address
  • Front photo of the valid ID you submitted when opening a Tala account
  • A selfie holding your valid ID

Our friendly customer support team will get in touch you as soon as possible.

If you are sure that you want to delete your Tala account, you must settle any outstanding balance before your request is processed. Please also take note of the following:

  • This is permanent and cannot be reversed.
  • You will no longer be able to log in to your Tala app.
  • You may lose access to all Tala services in the future.

Legal Disclosure:

Under anti-money laundering regulations, Tala is required to retain customer information for at least five (5) years. Notwithstanding requests for deletion of a Tala app account, Tala will retain records of customer information (such as: customer due diligence and identification records and transaction records) until the regulatory retention period has expired.
