Tala only uses your submitted photos in order to verify your identity. We do not use them for other purposes and Tala secures your personal information with SSL encryption.
After you submit your verification photos to Tala and we have confirmed they’re acceptable, you may remove camera permissions for the Tala app to protect your privacy. Here’s how to do that:
- On your phone, open the Settings app.
- Tap Apps.
- Select the Tala app from the apps list.
- Tap Permissions.
- There you should see which permissions you allowed for the Tala app.
- Tap the camera permission setting, then choose “Don't allow.”
Remember, Tala requires some permissions in order to be able to determine your eligibility for credit and to offer you higher credit limits in the future.
